The Dummerston School day begins at 8:25 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m.  Students arriving between 7:55 and 8:05 a.m. should report to the school playground where they will be supervised.  Walkers and riders who arrive between 7:55-8:05 should be dropped off at the far end of the building by the Kindergarten classroom.There is no supervision at school before 7:55 a.m.  

Meeting Waters YMCA offers after school child care at Dummerston School for students in grades K-6 through the ASPIRE program.  ASPIRE is a licensed, school age child care program, which ensures high standards of safety, proper staff training and an age-appropriate curriculum.  Their licensing allows parents to access the Child Care Subsidy Program, which provides financial support to parents who are working or in job training programs.  You must register for the ASPIRE program.  For details go to meetingwatersymca.org

Retirement Open House: 

Stella White is retiring after 28 years of service to the Dummerston School community.  An Open House will be held in her honor on Thursday, June 4 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the school. Parents, community members and students (past and present) are welcome to attend to thank Mrs. White, share some memories and wish her good luck on her new adventure!

The Dummerston School PTFO (Parents Teachers Friends Organization) raises funds for class trips, Winter Activity afternoons, scholarships and school equipment as well as plans various parent and family events at school.  Please consider joining us!  Our final get together for the year will be the PTFO Appreciation breakfast on Thursday, June 18 at 8:30 in the gymnasium.

The Windham Southeast Supervisory Union supports  Act 62 and publicly funded preĀ­ kindergarten education for children between the ages of 3 and 5 who reside in the towns of Brattleboro, Dummerston, Guilford, Putney and Vernon.
