The
Dummerston School day begins at 8:25 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. Students
arriving between 8:00 and 8:20 a.m. should report to the school playground
where they will be supervised until the start of school. There is no
supervision at school before 8:00 a.m.

information. Please note that while other WSESU schools have changed the
times when their school day begins and ends, Dummerston School remains the same.
Meeting Waters YMCA offers after school
child care at Dummerston School for students in grades K-6 through the ASPIRE
program.During the month of September
(through September 23), ASPIRE will offer Kindergarten ASPIRE beginning at 12:30
until 2:45 in the Kindergarten classroom.
ASPIRE is a licensed, school age child care
program which ensures high standards of safety, proper staff training and an
age-appropriate curriculum.Their
licensing allows parents to access the Child Care Subsidy Program, which provides
financial support to parents who are working or in job training programs.

Dummerston
School has partnerships
with a number of preschools and Daycare providers in the area.These partnerships allow access to funds for
preschool certification, professional development and tuition incentives for
parents.At the end of the last school
year, we had contracts with the following preschools:Hilltop, Winston Prouty, Mulberry Bush Early Learning Center,
Neighborhood, Timson Hill, Brattleboro Nursery, West Bee Nursery and Sue
Clarke’s preschool program in Guilford. This year we added Green Valley School to our list. If you have questions about preschool
partnerships with Dummerston
